Biketown is a partnership between the City of Portland’s Portland Bureau of Transportation and Nike, the program’s sole title sponsor. PBOT is the steward of the City’s transportation system. post

Nike designed the visual identity for the program’s standard bike which is the identifiable orange. Nike oversees the design and branding of the system’s logo, stations and physical presence. post

Motivate provides a local general manager responsible for day-to-day operations supported by corporate resources including business intelligence and supply chain experts, along with a peer-network of general managers. site

Equipment by Social Bicycles using wireless and gps to manage the fleet compatible with regular bike racks. site
