Powdery Mildew

Powdery mildew is a fungal disease that affects a wide range of plants. Powdery mildew diseases are caused by many different species of fungi in the order Erysiphales, with Podosphaera xanthii being the most commonly reported cause. wikipedia

Vineyards are subject to devastating outbreaks depending on climate, elevation, temperature, humidity and sunlight. Remote sensing weather stations can sample the microclimate in each vineyard block and thus alert when application of chemicals is needed.
