Please join me for a Memorial Day party. We’ve reserved the back room at the Old Market Pub, 6959 SW Multnomah Blvd, Portland, just blocks from my home. Drop in 1 to 5 for beer, pizza and healthy stuff too.
It’s true that I often watch the Indianapolis 500 as I was born and raised in Indiana. But that event will be mostly over by the time we meet.
It’s also true that I was born on May 26 so it is a doubly special day for me. But please don’t bring presents. Memories yes. Presents no.
We’re not asking for RSVP. Nor are we sure that I’ve invited all my old friends so please pass this along as appropriate. Thanks.
Supervised kids are welcome at the pub though there are some rules about not playing pool or shuffleboard.
